It's fine if people want to play AI games after they have signed up, they wont count to the score and it is the only way to unlock new maps. We will monitor it to see if is an issue this time round but we are not expecting it to be.

Strigany can't equip medium and heavy armour.

Its an IP/background restriction we have added. Due to the Strigany back story we have kept them to the "light Infantry" bracket. It also helps differentiate between the other undead warband. Slow, relentless, meat tank vs quick, nimble, savage.

The design brief was to make them slightly more unique than Von Carstein but yes on reflection they are looking a bit more King Goul than Strigoi Vampire. We are working on some new skills for them in the next update.

You can equip a double handed weapon but won't get the shield bonus in close combat. Clearly a fashon statement!

We did consider it and have not ruled it out yet but for the moment they will just be hired swords.

Noted. We still plan to bring them out but it is hard they are a much bigger departure from all the existing warbands all new weapons and animations and getting the balance right is tough. We will get there in the end.

We plan to release world wide at the same time once we are finished with all the early testing.

Anybody with an account in the right territory should be able to get the game. We'd be keen to hear more detail on your payment issues - to see if there is anything we could do to improve this area.

Nope. The Beta and Live games will be on totally different servers. The live one will be maintained throughout the life of the game the beta one will get trashed regularly during testing.

Earliest go date is 26th, but we need to make sure it's right first. There is still a lot of optimisation work to do and it needs to be received well by our Viking chums.

They are one of the first 4 we are putting out. The others will be a few months behind. Please do try and play as many as you can..everyone wants to be Van Saar.

Another bit of advice is to play Mordheim in the meantime as that will set the expectation level right for anyone expecting AAA next gen consol graphics or a carbon copy of the table top with dice.
